Beginning to sound more 'produced' now,I think...production values rise with experience ("tradecraft", as Le Carre called it) but the band has yet more 'edge' and confidence...this is mature work and it feels like they are discovering their true identity and potential...the extended jam feel of some earlier music now seems a little more purposeful and focused...that's great, because there feels like so much more to come from DSA in the future and all the hard work is paying off... Giddy music that could easily score a playful Nintendo game, these are bright, chirpy melodies designed to bring a smile. Bandcamp New & Notable Jul 3, 2023
Bright electronic squiggles and squelches, manipulated vocals, and aqueous ambient synths make up Reptilian Expo's playful sound-world. Bandcamp New & Notable Jun 6, 2023
How lucky of me to find this band, and what a shame it took them 8 albums for me to find them. In particular, I love the swagger/frivolity of their playing.
Also the delicacy of the guitarist on some tracks (reminds of Stone Rebel at times)
Fav track: I am the beyonder ooijerm
Mind-blowingly good mix of space and heavy psych, these guys have been around a while now and have so far never released anything that falls beneath excellent, and this is no exception. FDJ (Desert Psychlist)
